LMS Prime: After adding a new Certificate LMS Services not starting

Hello,

we changed the LMS from a self signed certificate to a certificate issued from our corporate ca. Since about 30 services could start anymore. We are using LMS 4.1 on a Soft Appliance.

I verified the certifcate with the SSLUtil and everything looked just fine.

Any ideas?

I enabled debugging for the dcr server and i found in the daemons.log this entries.

In EPMOgsAdapter:EPMOgsadapter is sleeping. Waiting for OGSServer to come up com.cisco.nm.xms.ctm.common.CTMException: URN_NOT_FOUND : ur

Hi Alex,

OGSServer stands for ObjectGroupingServer ,there are different OGSServer ,for e.g CMFOGSServer etc... Kindly attached the output of pdshow.

In the meantime try this:

shutdown dmgtd

then remove ctmregistry* from NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/rme/WEB-INF/lib.

Then start dmgtd

i attached the pdshow. i have to ctmregistry* files in opt/CSCOpx/NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/rme/WEB-INF/lib

i removed both files and restarted dmgtd. But still the same problem. I attached the daemons.log file. Should i open a tac sr?

Hi Alex,

I suspect this is because of the new certificate although you have already verified the certificate with SSLUtil.pl.

Have you chnaged the hostname  of the server ?

If it is very urgent ,kinldy open up a TAC case.

In the meantime ,if possible send me the below files:

md.properties

ctm_config.txt (NMSROOT\cscopx\mdc\tomcat\shared\lib)

syslog.log (if possible)

Hello Afroj,

i'll wait to open a tac sr until i am back from my business trip next week. There is no syslog.log only syslog_info. But i is quiete large so i didn't post it.
