Local accout password reset automatically

could someone please suggest to rest the Local account password for Cisco devices automatically by every 30 days once.

- Not possible . that would also defy the purpose off having a (shielded) password.

Hi Marce/ all,

The Customer requirement is to change the Local account password on every 30 days;

we have around 3,000 + devices .

manual task is time consuming,pls advice the suitable solution.

We do it through Prime and you can also use KIWI Cat not auto though, we just push the job and it hits about a 1000 devices , you just need a central mgmt tool that connect to all devices and push config change

You could use python to fully automate it but i wouldn't recommend going fully auto with something like this , you want to have control but pushing the job at once to everything is fine.
