Hi team,
I added Cisco AIR-1142 AP which is registered with WLC 5508 in to LMS 4.1. After restarting AP, the status in LMS showing as unreachable. I am not able to save the configuration in AP and also not able to add SNMP parameters . Any one please suggest what is the issue or what are the normal procedure to add a LWAPP in LMS.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Naisam

answers is simple: a LWAP AP does not run SNMP !
hence it will never be managed by CP LMS
only autonomous AP that runs CDP and SNMP are supported.
You can instead use CP NCS, or nowadays CiscoPrime Infrastructur

You cannot manage LWAPPs in LMS since (as it was pointed out) they do not run SNMP. NCS (formerly WCS) will manage LWAPPs via the WLCs. As LMS converges more with NCS, the wireless and wired management features will converge as well.
For now, you can block the LWAPP IPs in LMS Discovery or add their CDP IDs to the list of excluded CDP IDs per this doc https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9005 .
