managing dfm2.0.3 ICMP polling

In the previous version of DFM(1.2) you could unmanage ICMP polling for a interface, but it would still be polled by SNMP. It appears however in this new version that you can only unmanage a interface from both ICMP and SNMP. This presents a problem since on a lot of our switches we use VLAN interfaces that are not ICMP reachable from our NMS due to firewall constraints. We can reach the device by SNMP, and SNMP can poll to see if the interface is up however since it is not ICMP reachable it puts the interface on a do not SNMP poll list. If I unmanage the interface, SNMP will not poll it. How can I get around this??

disabling icmp polling on dfm 2.0.3 will also disable snmp polling unlike dfm 1.2, check out the following link for more information ;
