Hi,

would anyone suggest a good way of capturing bandwidth utilization for an IP address in a remote location. I have access to the router and switch where the device is connected but am able to check bandwidth from the router level which gives me all the bandwidh used by devices in that location.

Hello,

you can use netflow or RMON. If the station is connected to the single port (not shared) you cal also use SNMP. NetFlow gives you the most information (src/dst IP, ports, time, bytes/pck, protocol, src/dst AS). If you want to know more about netflow see cisco web pages or

our pages: http://netflow.caligare.com/ http://support.caligare.com/ or contact me directly.

Kind regards,

Jan
