need help with Configuring 1811W router

Hi,

So I need some help configuring a Cisco 1811W router.  I've been out of the CLI game for several years and have forgotten a lot of the detailed config commands and how it all works.  So below I'll detail what I need, but first I really just need a simple config that meets my needs and I'll add other things later (seperate Vlan for ip phones, more secure ACL, etc.)

Ok so here is the setup at the office I have.  Our internet comes in from Charter Business, which is a DHCP address at the FA 0 interface, so no other config needed I don't think.  So the FA 1 port I wanted to use as an uplink to an un-managed switch which feeds all the devices on the network.  I would like the router to act as the DHCP server and all things can be on Vlan 1.  192.168.1.0 can be the IP scheme. I have 7 phones that I would like as static address as well as 10 other devices that need to be static as well, the rest can be DHCP.  I also need the wireless to work and need 2 seperate SSID's  with passwords and supports most speeds.  As far as names and ip address in the config go I can change those myself.  At the end of this post I'll include a 'sh ver'.  Below is a list of things I need so its easier to look at.  But thanks for helping or even just reading my post

1. FA 0 needs to be DHCP

2. Router needs to act of a DHCP server

3. FA 1 as uplink to un-managed switch

4. Need wireless with 2 SSID's and passwords

5. need a total of 17 static address (i can find the MAC addresses and enter them myself)

6. 192.168.1.0 IP scheme

7. Using only Vlan 1 is fine

8. if you need any more information please respond and I'll answer back pretty quickly, really need to get this done for work.

To anyone that helps me with getting this done I really do appreciate it!!

Thanks in advance.

Hi @poulostj

Check this link:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/1800/1801/software/configuration/guide/scg.html

It has many examples of configurations that you might find useful.

Regards

@luis_cordova Thanks for the link but I've been all over the cisco site looking for examples and such.  But I've made some progress and the only things that do not work is the wireless network, can NOT for the life of me get the SSID to broadcast.  Also having trouble with NAT as my devices get a DHCP address but can't access the internet but the router itself can ping public DNS sites (8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1) but can't ping other IP addresses or host names (they don't resolve).  I'll post my sh run here in a bit, router is in my car and I'm busy catching up on things I didn't do yesterday.
