I had deployed Network Analayser Module on a Cisco 6509 switch at my hub location from my hub location i connect to a branch access router via my hub router.

I intend to export the netflow data from the branch routers towards NAM

i am having the following question.

1. Whether Netflow data export is only for ingress/egress/both on that particular interface where netflow is enabled.

2. where should i enable the netflow switching on the branch router serial interface or the ethernet interface.

Will be glad if anyone out there can respond to my queries

Hello,

1.NetFlow data will be exported only for ingress basically. But you configure egress also depending upon the analyzer module requirement.

2.You have to enable in all the interfaces and you monitor only the required interface.
