I'm trying to troubleshoot a NAT problem in a new installation.
I'm running Network Assistant 5.8.
My question is about the "Ping and Trace" function under the Troubleshooting tab in the interface.
From my PC's cmd window, I can ping any active device connected to the switch, but I cannot successfully ping the NAT'd devices on the Public side of the switch. However, I can successfully ping the NAT'd devices when I use the "Ping and Trace" function in Network Assistant.
What explanation could there be that would allow Network Assistant to work differently than the command window on my pc? What does NA know that my laptop does not?
