Network Assistant Version 6.0 Release 6.3.4 WILL NOT RUN

Dear Madam / Sir:

I am on a Macintosh, running MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 and I Purchased my 1st Cisco 10Gb Ethernet Switch; so, I downloaded Cisco Network Assistant Version 6.0 Release 6.3.4 to run on my Mac.  It downloaded fine, except when I tried to OPEN it, it would not OPEN because it was not from a known Apple Developer.  Well, once I did OPEN it, after bypassing that problem, IT ACTED LIKE IT LAUNCHED; but, IT WOULD NOT LAUNCH.  I tried it several times, to no avail.  Has anyone had this problem and know how to get it to run?  I contacted Cisco Technical Support; but, they say there is no Team to support this Version yet.  WTF is that garbage?  How do you release software without supporting it?  Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

I work on a Microsoft Platform Windows 10 Pro 64bit [version 1903, OS Build 18362.418] - As of today Monday December 23, 2019 this PC is up to date (to be technically precise).

I have a similar situation, but since this is a common behavior with few number of applications I have come across, I gave the "Run as Administrator" option a try and IT WORKED.

This is not a feature offered by that OS, instead, you have to search deeper. Now, I am not an expert on Mac OS, so don't quote me on this, but these two articles might help you:
