Network Bandwidth

Please, using just the Cisco command line and if possible Cisco Works, what commands can I use t find out the overall capacity at which our network is running at. Also to find out if there are bottlenecks and if there are, where are they?

Our network is getting slower and slower and I don’t seem to know what is causing this. We have 2xC6509 and about 10-12 xC4000 series.

Thanks

If your have ciscoworks RWAN bundle, the IPM tool along with the Serivce Assuranace Agent (SAA - see http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk447/tk823/tsd_technology_support_sub-protocol_home.html) embedded in your routers and switches might serve your needs.

Command line will give you raw statistics on an ad hoc basis.

You might use MRTG (open source graphing utiltiy, publishes HTML web pages) to monitor interfaces as well.
