New Device Alert

Hi,

I have ciscoworks 4.0, i want to be notified once any new device (router, Switch, etc ) been added to my network.

Can i do it? how ?

Hi  ,

No ,there is no way by which you will be notified by cisco works that a new device has been added..

a device is added in cisco works in only 3 ways..

1. Manually addind the Device

2. Via Device discovery

3.Importing the Devices..

If the device is automatically discovered, can ciscoworks send trigger or notify in anyway?

No I don't think so that cisco works can notify you for this event !!
