Nexus 3172TQ-10GT not supported by PI 2.2

Hey guys,

we have two freshly installed nexus 3172 with NXOS: version 7.0(3)I2(1a). But our PI2.2 with device packs 7 & 9 installed just shows them as unsupported cisco device. As far as I know these devices should be supported since device pack 4. I have already installed PI3.0 but the devices arent supported ther either. Also the bug search didnt brought something useful up.

I appriciate any suggestions or tips to get these into the management.

device is supported in I 3.0 and 2.2 as well.

OID:1.3.6.1.4.1.9.12.3.1.3.1389

All Versions

(NX-OS\(tm\)), IOS

if the device pack is not helping , please raise a case with TAC for further assistance.

In the meantime , try to delete and re-add the device once ,if not tried before.

make sure the SNMP credentilas are correct

Also you can verify the "OID" of your device by doing the SNMP walk on your device with this OID "sysObjectID"

thanks a lot, for the tips seems like the Nexus came up with another/ wrong sysOID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.12.3.1.3.1390

is there a way to fix it on the Nexus, by setting this ID manually?
