NX-OS: required permissions for show interface command

For NX-OS devices:

According to the documentation, the show interface command only works for network-admin and vdc-admin. However, on my test device (Nexus 900 7.0(3)I7(9)), the vdc-operator and network-operator can perform this command. Can it be relied upon across device versions/families that show interface will work without admin permissions?

Hello,

as stated in the other post, I think you need to add the keywords mentioned. The command 'show interfaces' without keywords does not exist on its own...

Thanks for the reply! Interesting, on the 9000 at least, a straight show interface seems to work:

Very possible the arguments are required for 5k/6k (others?) however...

You are right, it works on the N9K, but apparently not in the same way on the N5/N6K...
