Hi board,
currently I'm using Cisco Prime Infrastructure 3.1 (Patch 3 / Device Pack 3) and I want to create User-Defined network device groups.
So far so good. I created a lot of groups so far, but during the creation of one specific group (named "Access Point") an hit save, I got a "successful" message but the group is not visible from the GUI and even not quering the groups via REST-API.
If I want to create the group again, I get the following error:
So the group is already there (somehow). Is there a way to delete the faulty group from the database. Anybody knows if there is a XML configuration file in the /opt/CSCOlumos directory (or somewhere else), where the user defined groups are stored?
Anybody ("wave at Cisco engineers / Tac") has an idea?
Cheers
Johannes

Hi Johannes,
Are you selecting all the devices , I mean unmanaged devices as well while creating the group ?
if yes try with only managed devices.
found a bug:

Hi Afroj,
when creating network device groups, you don't have to select any devices. In fact you even cannot select any devices, because the creation dialog is in a separate menu (Inventory / Group Management / Network Device Groups)

I'm having the same problem with Prime Infrastructure 3.3, Update 01, Maintenance Release 1. Were you ever able to find a solution?
