Hi
at first i want to say that am a newbie in networking and i come from germany so my englisch is not the best.
So, here is my Problem:
I have a Server at home for general purpose and the home lan i share with my family.
My router is a Fritzbox 7490 and my Switch is a cisco SG350-10.
So i wanted to seperate the server from the rest of the lan in the house.
At first i thought i can seperate it with the inbuild funktion of the fritzbox with guest-lan, yeah i can seperate it completely but i can't open ports on a guest-lan, so it was a failure.
After that i used port 3 & 4 on my router, one (3) for my PC and one (4) for the server.
There is the problem the fritzbox routes between the ports...
So i can ping the server and the server can ping me...
Among other things, therefore, I have bought the switch (SG350-10) because I have read that the switch has the functions (VLAN-L3) to split the networks and the funktion to TAG the VLAN's so they can't communicate among themselves
So I created three VLAN's one for my Family/PC, on one only for the server and one for internal purpose:
But it wount work, so i created a VLAN and the VLAN hasn't access to internet or when it has access to internet they can ping everyone in the network.
Another problem is that i think i can't have two uplinks on my switch or i have it configured not correct.
Because the internet icon (on my PC) in the right down corner started flickering when i have to uplinks on my switch and i lose internet access.
And I have only the Webinterface to configure.
However, I have difficulty finding the functions in the GUI and getting it up and running.
So did anyone already had this case and can help me?
