Prefered Netflow collector

I am in the process of purchasing a netflow collector software. I have looked at several packages with similar feature but a wide ranch of pricing models. I have to say that some of the simplest and most well designed interfaces seem to be the cheapest packages while the extremely expensive packages have very convoluted GUIs to deal with. Do you folks have any experience or suggestions about what the best software is out there?

We own Netflow Analyzer. It's decent, but the support is horrible. We eval'd some others but the one I liked the best was NetFlow Tracker from Fluke.

you have right, every software has another pricing model. I'm from Caligare company, which is developing a Caligare Flow Inspector. I cannot say our software is the best. Every software has several positives and several negatives.

Caligare SW license is based on number of monitored devices

(you can order monitoring from 1 to 9 device, or unlimited version).

Flow Analyzer from ManageEngine

is based on number of monitored interfaces. The price for 20.000 interfaces is aprx. 50.000$

If you want to monitor less interfaces, they are offering cheaper version.

NetFlow Tracker from Fluke is based

on number of monitored devices. You can choose 5,10,15,... In the base package is not included gold support. For more information see:

It is very difficult to recommend you some of these products. Let me know, if you want to know where are the possitives of the competitor's products.
