Prime Infra 2.2 Syslog file

Hi All,

Does anyone know where on the OS the syslog file is.

I change to the "root" shell but can't seem to find it...

I would like to do something like the normal "tail -f /var/log/messages"

 

Is that possible....

OK, I think I found it...

Did a bit of poking around....

Seems that PI creates some kind of binary file with that info, so I used the strings command with grep to find my messages that I was interested in...

Files located in:

/opt/CSCOlumos/decap/data

syslog file = SyslogProc_Main_514

 

Hope this helps someone...
