We are running prime lms 4.2.4, every morning we found that ICServer process is shutdown, once we start it it starts fine, next day again the same.

You know this process is required for the Inventory Collection.

Application is installed on windows, thanks in advance

Hi Anas,

In the meantime , you can follow the below steps:

1. Stop the ciscoworks and wait for 5 minutes.

2. Increase the ICServer memory heap size from 256 to 512 in
registry for ICServer process
* HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->Cisco->Resource Manager->Current Version
->Daemons->ICServer       The HEAP (ICServer parm -Xmx512m)
3.start the daemon manager

Keep the eye on the ICserver process and see if it is still failing...

I have attached the screen shot for your referenec ..

Thanks-
Afroz

Hi Afroj and thanks for your reply, is this for prime lms 4.2?

Thanks, Anas *--* Please rate the useful post,its free ;) *--*

Yes , you can apply this workaround.

But it would be good , if you send me the logs file first then I will check and confirm it accordingly
