Prime UCS VM Environment vs GEN-2 Hardware

Hoping for some input.  We are currently running Prime Infrastructure 3.4 on a VM.  It's currently monitoring/managing about 4k devices.  We have been kicking around the idea of moving it on to a Gen-2 HA set of dedicated hardware.  I'm looking for any pro/cons to this move.

 - I will presume that the Gen-2 will offer more performance (pro) ; con(s) = price.
