Today I installed a nem modem / router a cisco epc 3925. Works fine except for the fact that it does not recognize my printer.
This is a HP 2200 network printer connected through a cable.
It seems that something is wron with the port or IP adress, since in the set up page of the router I get the message that the IP adress of the printer is out of range ? (192.168.1.211) that is, whten I try to create a pre assigned IP adress. It might be that I am already on the wrong track here, trying in this direction. In fact I have no idea and don't know much about computers.
Can somebody tell me what to do with the settings of the router ot get it working.
With my former modem / router a Linksys from Cisco, there was no problem.
