Problems with a LMS for 5000 devices

Hi,

we have installed a LMS for 5000 devices and we are having problems: when launching inventory collections or config collections, they take too many time and finally it seems to get stuck because the count of pending devices never decreases.

It's very problematic because, once a job it's hung, following jobs never finish.

Are there best-practices/recommendations for optimizing RME configuration and do it faster?

Regards.

You can use the RME Performance Tuning Tool to increase thread counts and heap sizes for some of the Java processes within RME. The tools is found in NMSROOT/bin/rmept.

However, if config jobs are hanging, you may be running into one of a few known bugs. It is recommended to move to LMS 3.2 to get all available bug fixes.
