Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a host based firewall for Windows implementations of Ciscoworks (3.0).

We have not tested any, but you should be able to use the Windows 2003 built-in firewall provided you open all the right ports based on the LMS 3.0 getting started guide.

Thanks for the feedback. That's what I was leaning towards as we're reaching EOL on the current firewall in place.

The apps most likely to break with a host-based firewall are Campus Manager Topology Services, Campus Manager Path Analysis, RME config fetch via TFTP, and SWIM operations involving RCP. Make sure you read the list of ports carefully, and test these [relevant] operations before and after implementing the firewall.
