Our inventory contains 1300+ devices, periodic polling and periodic collection is taking too long to process. Can we create profiles that would poll only certain groups, such as only routers or only switches?
Not for the system polling and collection jobs. They operate on all devices managed by RME. However, you could disable system polling and collection, then build custom Sync Archive jobs that operate only on a subset of devices.
