sensible value for Broadcast tresholds in DFM

Hi,

I'm looking for a sensible value for Broadcast and Utilisation tresholds in DFM. The defaults for utilization=40% and for broadcast=15%. It seems its possible to increasing this values (broadcast=40%, ultilization=75%).

Hai,

Yes it is possible in the following ways.

Go to DFm->Configuration -> Managing thresholds

In the right side from the DFM system defined groups select the Interface groups -> select your desired interface (serial or 1 Gb or 100 MB).

A separate window will open there it will display the default values. change your desired values 40% and 75% in broadcast and utilisation whatever u want.

Click save.

Hi,

are these intelligent values? Or it's may be better to take the default thresholds. In our environment we have a average broadcast theshold from 20% Broadcast Messages by DFM.
