SNMP Polling to Loopback Interface for Avaliability stats

IOS: 12.2(33)SRE1, or 15.0(1)S1.

Can we use CA's eHealth performance monitor to poll the loopback int for avaliability stats?  is the loopback interface part of 'interface' mib and does it responds to stats like up/down or avaliabilty etc .

hi Atef,

the loopback interface is a part of the interfaces in the if-mib.

so if you do snmpwalk on the ifEntry you will see the interface loopback listed there and the status of the (oper and admin status) will be shown.
