Hi,
i have a confusion here. do i need to configure my switches to send traps to solarwinds ? or does solarwinds sends traps to the switches ?
what is the difference between syslog and traps then ?
Also in order for solar winds to pull the config does the switches need a local username and password (i am using acs server - so i have created a specific user name and password on the local database of the acs server - do i still need a lcoal username and password on the switches?)
