Hi,
I have several 26220's running ios 12.2(8)t5 and i want to implement ssh. looking at the cisco literature i think my ios is "recent enough" but i cant find any commands that are referenced in the config guides. Can someone please confirm if this ios is good enough, where i may be going wrong ,and is there any alternatives if ssh cannot be used ?
regards
Richard

Richard,
I'm assuming you mean 2620 routers...
Do you run a feature set with encription?
Besides the IOS revision level, you need to look at the feature set. For instance; you can run within the 12.2(8)T5 release an IP Plus version or an IP Plus IPsec 3DES version. Only the latter feature set includes ssh.
