Can someone tell me if its possible to run Tcl scripts and EEM on PIX or ASA's?
Cheers

As far as I know, eem and tcl only works on routers/switches and the ASA doesn't support it. Depending on what you want to do though, you may be able to write an Expect script to log into the ASA and manipulate things...

Hi all,
There is support introduced for EEM script on ASA starting 9.2.1 version. It works on single context ASA running the code. You can find more information from following link:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/adaptive-security-appliance-asa-software/117883-config-eem-00.html
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa92/configuration/general/asa-general-cli/monitor-eem.html

John is correct. EEM is only available on IOS and IOS-derived operating systems (IOS-XR and IOS-XE). While NX-OS for the 7K does have a feature called EEM, it is not the same as IOS and does not offer a Tcl interface.

The N7K does support Tcl, but not n EEM. There is no EEM implementation of Tcl on NX-OS. NX-OS 7.0 will support calling a Tcl script from an EEM applet, but that is not officially supported yet.
