Hi-
We would like to upgrade from our current CiscoWorks version, which is now on Solaris, to version 2.6 on Windows. Are we eligible to purchase the upgrade license, or do we have to purchase the full version license?
Thanks,
Dave

There is no upgrade key per se. There is the need to validate an upgrade using a previous version CD or previous running installation. The Solaris installation will be sufficient to validate the Windows installation.

It doesn't matter anymore. The upgrade comes with both Windows and Solaris CDs. However, your data will not migrate. You must start from scratch. You will be able to simple things like device list importing, though.

Okay, so I can install the Windows version onto a fresh box and use the upgrade key with no problem?
I know that data migration is not possible, but that's not really an issue for us.
