Background info :
Physical Host name is : "hostA" with two Network Cards.
NIC Card 1 : X.X.53.1
NIC Card 2: X.X. 54.1
The Apps. URL is <http://hostA.domain.com:8888> --> (belongs to NIC Card1).
Scenario: To access an E-Business Application from two URL's from two different LAN's.
Requirement is : The same Instance needs to be accessed from NIC Card2 as a different URL like '<http://hostb.domain.com:8888>'.
1. How to achive the above scenario?
2. Any document on this from Cisco regarding E-Business Application using Networking devices etc.or in general if any available ?
But the only problem is the Application is accessible only in the first URL.
Now the users from LAN 53.0 segment only need to access this URL
whereas when LAN B i.e 54.0 segment users need to access the URL, it should be accessed as <http://hostb.domain.com:8888>.
What device can be thought of to do like URL rewrite for any request from LANB i.e 54.0 so that the end user does not know in the browser it is running on the LAN A i.e 53.1
This issue can be resolved from the web server by having appropriate configuration.
Is there any solution from CISCO from the hardware side
