Hi
Anyone know what type of cable is needed to connect an Avocent CPS1610 to a Cisco console port?
Avocent say its a "reversing cable" (1-8, 2-7, etc) but I've tried and it doesn't work.

Should be a roll-over cable, (i.e., 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, etc).
Make sure you set the Avocent ports correctly; 9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity or flow control.

It is set correctly (as far as I can see).
I get the following when trying to connect:
"Avocent CPS-1610 S/W Version 2.2
Connected to Port: 3 9600,8,N,1,NONE"
Then nothing else.
