Wrong color displayed by CiscoView

There is one chassis with some ports connected with cable but disconnect at the other end are shown in red (indicates as fail in CiscoView Legend).

However, other switches have the disconnect ports displayed as orange (indicates as down in CiscoView Legend).

What could be the reason behind this?

The difference is most likely the AdminStatus. The down ports are administratively shutdown where as the failed ports are administratively up.
