Capture Network Inventory using API

Hello All,

Could we capture the whole network inventory like serial number of chassis, SFP, PSU by using API ? because i couldn't find the fastest way to capture inventory like an traditional Catalyst devices by execute show inventory command

For SFPs it gets fiddlier, try these for switches...

...I don't recall anything for MX SFPs.
