Trigger webhooks notification to Google chat

I would like to have the notifications from Merkai (any modification or alerts) sent to Google Chat through webhook. I have tried with Slack already as Slack has the template built-in within Meraki console and the integration is straight forward.
With Google chat, although it supports webhooks, I am not able to workout the "Liquid template" within Meraki as it is either not working or gives up an error.
Has anyone able to workout the Webhook integration with Google Chat ?

I attempted this in the past and could not get it to work. I was about to try again and searched for instructions. The first search result led me here. I'll keep watching this post. If I come up with something I'll share it here.
