Hi,
I'd wait for a Cisco employee answer or someone that has sure knowledge.
We do have 5x ASA 5585-X with SSP20
ASA 5585 has the following ports
- 2 Management interfaces
- 8 GigabitEthernet
- 2 SFP slots
(Im not sure if the other SSPs have maybe more SFP slots?)
To my understanding to get more SFP slots you need another SSP or the IPS module. Doesnt seem to be any module just to provide additional SFP slots which kinda makes things inconvenient sometimes.
To be able to use the 2 SFP slots to provide 10G connection, you need to get license for that. By default they are 1G only.
Then again it could be its already included in the bundle?
As I said I cant give you a specific answer but our ASA 5585-X models with SSP-20 didnt come with the ability to use 10G straight away. Maybe thats included with SSP-40 and SSP-60

In our ASA for example the "show version" command shows the following
