Hi, Guys,
My ASA 5545-x is running 9.4.4 (5).
I can not configure the ASA 5545-x interfaces, any help ?
fw(config)# int gi1/3
fw(config-if)# speed 1000
fw(config-if)# duplex full

ERROR: % Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
Thanks a lot

#1 - Fiber ports on ASAs (and probably most Cisco gear is full-duplex only). A typical fiber run has a dedicated strand for transmitting and a dedicated strand for receiving. Thus, there should be no scenarios where you would want half-duplex on those interfaces.
#2 - It is always recommended to let interfaces auto-negotiate the duplex and speed. If you have interfaces that are falling to half-duplex or lower speeds, then you need investigate and remediate the problem.

A couple of questions:
1. Are you trying to set the duplex on the fiber or copper interface?
2. What is the reason for forcing the speed and duplex? I ask this because it is best practice to let those auto-negotiate.

Hi, nspasov,
1. 1G full is SFP SX port ( for my situation ).
2. It is due to we find some packet loss if using speed & duplex auto, so we want set all network devices interfaces for fixed speed and duplex full ( which improve the interfaces performance in fact)..
Thx a lot.
