'show local-host' will display the number of local-host entries the PIX is tracking for 501 licensing purposes. Unfortunaely, there is nothing as clear as 'show license status' or something along those lines.
It's limited by concurrent hosts connecting through the firewall. The only way I know to count them is to run "show xlate" and count the unique local IP addresses.
If you exceed the license limit it will log a message to the buffer.
