AAA Authentication Cut through proxy

Hi,

If I configuring Cut through proxy from some user outside my network to my internal server, will the proxy authentication work only if I static map it to a outside public address or will it even work if i create at access list from the outside to the internal web server.

I guess it should allow both.... but i just need to confirm

what i mean is that if the internal server is either a public ip or an internal ip..

In cut through proxy u can allow outside users also to come in,
