I do not have a computer with a COM Port so that i amy use the console cable is there another way i can get started to configure it for use .
Its a new router never been configured before.

Hi Innocent,
You woudl definitely need to have a console connection, because that's necessary to get hold of the device and daccesso the initial configuration. Once you have the console access, then only you can configure other management accesses like telnet, asdm and ssh. If you do not have a console port, you can use a USB to serial converter for it.

There are several options that may work for you. I believe that by default the ASA will implement DHCP on the management interface. So you might connect your PC to the management interface (be sure that your PC is configured to use DHCP to get an IP address) and see if you can access the ASA that way.
The other alternative is to get a USB serial/console cable and connect to the console port using this. There are multiple vendors who make these. I have been using one from Keyspan and it works well for me.
