Accessing the aip ssm IDM Remotely

hi folks

am coonection remotaly to the asa with aip-ssm 10,how to lanch the IDM to manage the module,i prefer IDM over asdm

If I remember correctly, there is a C&C interface on AIP-SSM module. You just need to connect it to the network and initiate/configure it by using the same procedure as IPS appliance to enable IDM access.
