                   Hi everyone,

I need to add ACL to Active ASA by ASDM.

At bottom of ASA  it shows Failover status --  this device is currently in  Active status.

Need to know if i add ACL to this ASA  will it syn with other ASA also?

Thanks

Mahesh

Hi,

Around 99% of the configurations should always be done on the Active ASA unit. They will automatically replicate to the Secondary Unit.

So yes, when you configure ACL changes on the Active ASA unit they will be added/changed on the Standby unit also

On the CLI side atleas the ASA warns if you are mistakenly configuring the Standby Unit.
