AIP-SSM-20 upgrade

Hi,

I wan to upgrade my SSM from 6.1 E3 package to 6.2 E4.

Part:- ASA 5500 Series Security Services Module-20" PID: ASA-SSM-20

Can someone help me what all files i have to upgrade while doing the upgradation it would be great. I am just confused which files to download for the upgrade.

Hi,

You can use  IPS-K9-6.2-3-E4.pkg to upgrade from 6.1 E3.

I dont need to install the engine file which is there in the system software??

I just need to install this file and my SSM module will be working in 6.2 E4?

So just installing this package my engine will get upgrade and i have to download the new signature file and update that also.

Yes, after the engine and version upgrade, you can download and install the latest sig update.

with this package IPS-K9-6.2-3-E4.pkg will my engine get updated also? or i need to download a engine upgrade file and upgrade it seperately?
