Aironet 2621 E K9 software upgrade

Hello, 

My Aironet 2621 E K9 is currenty using the software version 15.2(2)JA which is a bit old. 

My question is whether or not I should upgrade and in that case which version should I use? The most recent seems to be 15.3.3, but the download site lists many different versions from JA1 to JF15

how is your setup, is the register with WLC ?  Do you need to check the compatible matrix with the WLC controller ?

My Aironet 2621 E K9 is a stand alone unit, no wlc.

According to the matrix, several software versions are applicable to the 2600 series, but I don't know which one to pick. see attached picture.

Hello BB, 

I have downloaded 15.3(3)JF15 and tryed to install it from the Cisco web interface but it didn't work. I was in holding mode for 30mn before I turned it of. 

I will welcome any suggestion to perform this upgrade.
