Hi all,
I would like to know , how can i allow the Windows 7 Remote assistance in firewall.
Our scenerio is that we are using the ASA 5510 between two sites and after firewall dployment , our helpdesk staff is unable to use remote assistance between sites.
I have allowed the RDP and TCP 135 as mentioned in many website but still windows remote assistance is nbot working , any recommendations .

Hi Guys ,
Can you run a packet tracer on the ASA
http://www.laguiadelnetworking.com/the-usage-of-the-packet-tracer-feature-on-the-asa/
And check if the ASA drops the package.
Also some captures will be helpful.

It is very difficult to get the exact destination post as it is higher than 1024
As MS Remote assistance also use MS RPC ( using higher ports in 5000-6000) range.
Any ideas guys how to handle this in ASA

We are also experiencing the same issue on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 Enterprise.
