Hi
Can someone advise me a SOHO firewall with an ADSL port and a few ethernet ports? It needs to support 5-10 users (on a Catalyst), VPN capability, stateful packet inspection. The Cisco SOHO 97 seems like a good choice although the spec does say up to 5 users - can anyone recommend a firewall that would suit my environment?
Thanks
MM

Hi,
On the EOL generally Cisco Publish whats best option to replace a product once it is announced as EOL.
You can go for the ASA 5505 and get the license you need to accomodate your needs.
You can always contact a Cisco Sales representative if you have any doubts of this ASA 5505 product.
Hope it helps.

One more thing sorry - the 5505 doesn't appear to support ADSL, is that right? And how could I support WLAN if at all?
Thanks

Your ISP should give you an ethernet handoff. The ASA supports PPPoE so you just need the media conversion from the ISP. Otherwise, there are some 800 series routers that support DSL and can be configured for Zone-Based Firewall.
