anyconnect version on asa

What anyconnect version do I need on a 5505 so i can have people connect via iOS devices? Right now I have "anyconnect-macosx-i386-2.5.1025-k9.pkg" on there, will that work for iOS devices? Thank you!

Hi Benjamin,

You just need to make sure the AnyConnect 2.5 or newer is enable on the ASA.

Also make sure you have the AnyConnect for Mobile license.

On the iPhone, you need to download the AnyConnect client from itunes.

Thanks for the response. I have anyconnect enabled on the asa, but do not know if I have the mobile license. How do I check to see if I have the mobile license? And where can I get it if I don't have it? If I have the mobile license will all devices be able to connect if I have the correct anyconnect client on the device (i.e will iOS devices be able to connect as well as android devices)?

The "show version" command will show you the correct output:

AnyConnect for Mobile             : Enabled

* To get it I would recommend to contact your Sales / Account team.

On the other hand, this license applies for iPhone and Android devices.

You can get the Android client from the Play Store.

Thanks for that link, it was very helpful. I even did a show ver and didn't catch where it "anyconnect for mobile". I have it disabled so I guess I will look into pricing for the licensing. Thanks again.
