ASA 5500 Caching webpages?

Hello -  We are having an issue with our domain's webpage resolving properly from behind the firewall.  It appears that cascading style sheets (with no file extension) are being blocked and that we are seeing an older version of the webpage.  We have a DNS A record pointing to the correct IP Address, so our web developers think it is the firewall.  I can't seem to find any settings that would lead me to believe our firewall is caching pages.  Any ideas of how I can rule out the firewall?

Jodie,

By itself the ASA doesn't cache any content (there is no storage capacity on the device itself to have decent cache size).

That being said, things I would look into:

- is http inspection enabled? (show run policy-map)

- url filtering used?

- is CSC or IPS module installed? (show modu) and is the webpage traffic going through it?

- Maybe WCCP configuration and ASA sending traffic somwehere?
