ASA 5500-X FTD Image

Hi all,

Would someone be able to confirm that by re-imagine an ASA to the FTD image that all aspects of the ASA will be able to be managed via FMC. As of version 6.4 are there are noticeably ommisions from the ASA running the FTD image or items that cannot be managed via FMC?

Hi,
Yes if you install the FTD image all aspects of the device can be managed from within the FMC.

It would only be if you run ASA with Firepower Services that mangement is split between ASDM to manage the ASA and FMC to manage Firepower Services.

I have not done, Technically speaking - FMC Look for FTD software, So if the FTD meet the requirement you should be able to manage using FMC.
