When I try to set my 5505 to factory default using ASDM, it goes all the way through, then at the very end asks for a username and password. The title of the window box is "Enter Network Username and Password", created by a Java process; which I assume is the ASDM.
Question is, what is this? EVERYTHING I enter (even leaving it blank) kicks it back. I cannot reset my 5505 back to Factory Default using ASDM it seems.
Any thoughts? Also, is the "reset" button on the back not any good for factory default resets?
Thanks all!

do it through command line, console to asa and issue the following:
go to enable mode
ciscoasa(config)# configure fatory-default
ciscoasa(config)#exit
ciscoasa#write mem
then reboot or
ciscoasa(config)#write erase
then reboot

Thanks Jorge.
I actually discovered it after several hours of "trying things". What it's looking for is the default "enable_15" password, without a username. So "username" is blank and "password" was the one I had set for "enable_15".
Hope this helps others.

Thanks, that certainly got me out of a jam.
