I posted this last week but I can't find it anywhere in the forums; sorry if this is a repeat.
I have an ASA5505/unrestricted with security plus and would like to implement active/standby failover. For the secondary unit, do I have to buy a second unrestricted unit with security plus? Or will it work with the security plus license?
Thanks,
Mike

On the 5505 there are two licenses, the Base license and the security plus license. You'll need the security plus license on the standby unit for it to sync to the active unit.

This mean that there is no need to buy security plus licence for the two firewalls ? only one security plus licence is enough ?
